Door Prizes

  • Frank & Mary Davis: Treated Checker Players to a Saturday noon pizza lunch party! (variety of pizza & cookies, cold drinks, & water)

  • The Wilson Co. Bank & Trust gave: 2 hats (baseball caps), 2 coasters, 2 key rings, and 2 flashlights.

  • Wilson Co/Lebanon Chamber of Commerce gave: 10 Chamber Bucks, 2 tee-shirts, 1 cooler, 1 book, and 1 peg game.

  • Wilson Co. Convention & Visitor Center: goody bags for everyone (pads, notebook, pen, magic marker, maps, attractions & events brochures)

    • 2013 Southern Open 3-Move Tournament Rules of Play:

    • 2½ hours per round - 2 games (1 hour & 15 minutes per game) 

    • If the game is not completed on time, then a move per minute for 10 minutes. 

    • If the move per minute does not create a decision, then the referee will make a decision for the results.

    • A 3 point bye round would be awarded as the first bye, thereafter to the lowest opponent.

    • The first bye is 3 points and thereafter 2 points awarded to multiple byes.

    • If a player is 15 minutes late, then the game will be forfeited. 

    • If a player is 1 hour late or more, then both games will be forfeited. 

    • Repairing, only if necessary in last round. 

    • 4 points for a forfeit

    • 3 points for a bye 

    • 2 points for a win

    • 1 point for a draw
